Warm up at your local Pie Shop.

Your coffee or hot chocolate is warming for you at your local GT Pie Co. shop. Stop in, grab a cup of great flavor, and add a slice of pie on the side.

Here are a few things you can do while sipping at your local Grand Traverse Pie Co. shop:

Chat with friends
That’s what Jeremy Jones likes to do when he stops in to the GT Pie shop in Okemos, MI, on Meridian Crossing Drive. “I meet a few friends every week and we have coffee and update each other on our lives,” the father of two says. “Even when it’s just me, I’m enjoying my coffee while I text with a friend and tell him how I’m eating his pecan roll!”

Surf the Web
All of our locations offer free wi-fi. Flip your laptop open, logon, and surf the world wide web to your delight. Warm your mouse hand on your mug and be sure to get a refill.

Work
At either location in Traverse City, Ted Smith can be often be found sitting at a table with a book or two open and his laptop. The semi-retired pastor (he’s still passionately active with his church and preaches regularly) writes his sermons while at the Pie Company.

Read the paper
Yes, people still read newspapers, and the GT Pie Co. is a perfect place to catch up on news, sports, weather, the classifieds, or do the crossword puzzle. In Ann Arbor, student Marie Jessup does just that without getting her fingers dirty. She reads on her Amazon Kindle as she relaxes at the Pie Shop on North Zeeb Road. “I can get some of my textbooks on [the Kindle]” Marie says, “but what I really like is to read my favorite books [on the Kindle] in the Pie Company with a slice of apple pie and a hot chocolate!” As a medical student at the University of Michigan, Marie is very busy. “But I have to get a slice of pie a few times a month.”

Find your favorite pie
Are you really sure which flavor is your favorite? Maybe you’ve always loved apple or cherry, but haven’t ever really tried a good lemon meringue? The GT Pie Co. offers over two dozen different types of pie. Pick a slice you’ve never had before and enjoy it with your coffee. Maybe you’re like Detroit Free Press columnist Mitch Albom, a GT Pie fan who loves mountain berry crumb.
