This Agreement governs your use of the Grand Traverse Pie Company’s (GT Pie) “DOUGH Card” beginning January 11, 2016. “DOUGH Card” from this point forward is used to describe either the DOUGH card or the Pie Dough Club card.
The following Grand Traverse Pie Company’s (GT Pie) “DOUGH Card” Agreement describes the terms and conditions that apply to the prepaid account of your GT Pie “DOUGH Card.” By using your “DOUGH Card” you agree to the terms of this agreement. Please keep a copy of this agreement regarding our Stored Value Accounts and Loyalty Rewards Program for your records.
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY. BY ACCESSING OR OTHERWISE USING ANY OF GT PIE’S LOYALTY OR GIFT CARD PROGRAMS, MOBILE APPLICATIONS OR THIS WEBSITE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BELOW. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, PLEASE DO NOT USE GT PIE’S LOYALTY OR GIFT CARD PROGRAM, MOBILE APPLICATION OR THIS WEBSITE.
The “DOUGH Card” has two features. It can be used as a stored value (gift card/pre-paid) account and it can be used to earn loyalty rewards through the Pie Dough Club.
Registering your GT Pie “DOUGH Card
To register your GT Pie “DOUGH Card” please visit our website and complete the registration process. Please update your registration information immediately if anything changes. If your card is lost, stolen or damaged, it can be replaced with any remaining balance on your Stored Value Account only if your “DOUGH Card” has been registered. You must register your “DOUGH Card” online to redeem loyalty rewards however loyalty points can be earned on your “DOUGH Card” without being registered. When you register your “DOUGH Card”, you agree to receive communications from GT Pie by email unless you opt out. Opting out will mean you will not receive notice of special offers.
About the “DOUGH Card” Stored Value Account.
The “DOUGH Card” allows you to load a dollar value onto your “DOUGH Card” for future purchases at GT Pie Shops. The dollar value that you load onto your “DOUGH Card” is a pre-payment only for the purchase of goods and services at any GT Pie shop. This is not a credit card or bank card and there is no credit line, overdraft protection or deposit account associated with a “DOUGH Card.” Unless otherwise required by law or permitted by this Agreement, any amount on your “DOUGH Card” is non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash. No interest, dividends or any other earnings on funds deposited to a “DOUGH Card” will accrue or be paid or credited to you by Grand Traverse Pie Company. The value associated with the “DOUGH Card” is not insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).
Loading Stored Value on Your “DOUGH Card”
You can load a dollar value on the “DOUGH Card” by using a credit card, debit card or cash by visiting any GT Pie Shop or by going online. You may not load more than $500 worth of value to your “DOUGH Card” and the minimum amount that must be loaded to your “DOUGH Card” is $5.00.
GT Pie may change the maximum and minimum amounts at any time by notifying you at the point of sale, by phone when you call or on the gtpie.com website, and such change shall not constitute an amendment to this agreement.
To use certain features of your card (such as recharge from credit card) you need to have a verified email address on file.
To make reloading your “Dough Card” easier, you can use our Auto Reload feature. By linking a credit card or debit card to your “Dough Card”, you can reload a dollar value onto your “Dough Card” whenever you like. To set up Automatic Reload go online and login using your username and password. Simply set up the reload date or the balance at which you want to reload and then provide us with payment information. Your credit card or debit card will be billed according to the schedule and amount you have selected. We will send you an email after each Auto Reload purchase to let you know your “DOUGH Card” has been loaded. You can change your preferences at any time, but changes may take up to 24 hours to go into effect.
Receipts and Statements for “DOUGH Card” Stored Value Account.
Cardholders are not sent statements of itemized transactions for their “DOUGH Card” Stored Value Account. You can review recent transactions on your “DOUGH” Card” Stored Value Account on our website and click on “Transaction History.” When you use your “DOUGH Card” you may ask for a receipt but you will not be asked to sign the receipt. You should keep your receipts and check your online statement to ensure that your account balance is correct.
Liability for Unauthorized Transactions; Replacing your “DOUGH Card” Stored Value Account.
Your “DOUGH Card” Stored Value Account is used like cash for purchases from GT Pie and you are responsible for all transactions associated with your “DOUGH Card” including unauthorized transactions. If your “DOUGH Card” is lost, stolen, or destroyed, it can be replaced with the balance remaining on it at the time you notify us that the card has been lost, stolen, or destroyed, but only if you have previously registered your “DOUGH Card” with us. Please notify us immediately if your “DOUGH Card” becomes lost, stolen or damaged. Contact us by calling 1-231-929-7841 x 3 or by sending us an email. Your balance is only protected from the point in time you notify us that your “DOUGH Card” is missing. We will freeze the remaining balance on your “DOUGH Card” at the time you notify us and will load that remaining balance on a replacement “DOUGH Card.” Any existing loyalty rewards will be added to your new card as well.
GT Pie reserves the right not to accept any “DOUGH Cards” or otherwise limit use of a “DOUGH Card” if we reasonably believe that the use is unauthorized, fraudulent or otherwise unlawful.
Fees and Expiration of “DOUGH Card” Balances
GT Pie reserves the right to expire any remaining stored value balance five years after date of issuance. Your “DOUGH Card” will not be charged any fees.
Billing errors, Corrections and Termination
We reserve the right to correct the balance of your “DOUGH Card” account if we believe that a clerical, billing or accounting error occurred. If you have questions regarding your transaction history or any correction, please call 231-929-7841 x 3. GT Pie shall have no liability for any billing error unless you provide us notice within 60 days of the date of the transaction in question. You should monitor your transactions and account balances closely.
Changes to this Agreement
You acknowledge and agree that we may update, revise, supplement and otherwise modify the terms of this Agreement and impose new or additional terms and conditions on your use of “DOUGH Card”, at any time and from time to time. As permitted by applicable law, such updates, revisions, supplements, modifications and additional rules, policies, terms and conditions will be effective immediately when posted on this website or as stated in any notice to you. If we change this Agreement, we will post a new statement on our website. By continuing to use the “DOUGH Card” you agree to be bound by the revised Agreement.
