Visit Us at the National Cherry Festival
It’s time to celebrate all things cherry, tourism, agriculture, and community! The 90th National Cherry Festival kicks off on Saturday, July 2, 2016. We invite you to come visit us during the National Cherry Festival at the Open Space along West Grand Traverse Bay or at either of our Traverse City pie shop locations. We are proud to have our Cherry Crumb Pie as the signature pie of the National Cherry Festival!
Come see us at the National Cherry Festival:
- Cherry Crumb Pie Every Day – Enjoy a slice of the National Cherry Festival’s Signature Pie. It’s available every day at the Open
Space. - Cherry Pie Bike Ride – Sunday, July 3rd, 9:30am – 12:00pm. Enjoy a beautiful 10 mile bike ride along the TART trail and receive a voucher for a free slice of pie from us at Grand Traverse Pie Company. Registration is at 9:30am with the bike ride beginning at 10:00am at Marina Drive at the Open Space in Traverse City.
- Kids Cherry Pie Make and Bake – Thursday, July 7, 10:00am – 4:00pm. Don’t miss this annual tradition! Bring your kids to the Open Space between 10:00am and 4:00pm. They will learn the process of making a cherry pie and make their first pie to enjoy at the Open Space or to take home. Proceeds from this event are donated to Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center. Read more about the Kids Make and Bake!
