Grand Traverse Pie Company and Pure Michigan Unveil an Exclusive Pure Michigan Maple Glazed Apple Pie
(Traverse City, MI) – Grand Traverse Pie Company (GTPC) and Pure Michigan are teaming up to celebrate Michigan’s fall bounty of Michigan apples.
The newest pie addition to the menu at Grand Traverse Pie Company is the Pure Michigan Maple Glazed Apple Pie made with Michigan grown apples. A classic Fall pie filled with Michigan apples and hints of cinnamon and maple. All wrapped up in Grand Traverse Pie’s signature flakey crust and topped with a sweet Michigan maple glaze. Each pie is made by hand, by GTPC bakers throughout Michigan every day.
The Michigan apples are grown by the Amos family, near Traverse City, Michigan and processed by the Smeltzer Orchard Company in Frankfort, Michigan.

The partnership between Grand Traverse Pie Company and Pure Michigan will also spotlight the importance of early childhood development by supporting initiatives at MI Kids Matter.

The Pure Michigan Maple Glazed Apple Pie will be available September 23 through December. It will be sold in both 6-inch and 9-inch sizes in all GT Pie locations, and in scores of supermarkets across Michigan and into Indiana. The pies will be available nationally through www.gtpie.com making a terrific holiday gift for family and friends.
