Win Free Pie in GT Pie’s Pi Day Video Contest
It’s almost Pi Day! That means it’s also time for our 3rd Annual Pi Day Video Contest. Over the past two years, we’ve had tons of fun and many creative entries – some entrants sang their pi digits and some stood on their heads, while some repeated as many as they could in 15 seconds (our record winner stands at 134 – wow!).
In honor of Pi Day on Tuesday, March 14 (3.14), we will be celebrating all day by serving a free slice of Michigan ABC Pie (Apples, Blueberries, and Cherries) with any purchase at all of our 16 GT Pie locations.
To top off the Pi Day celebration, we will again run the very popular video contest offering prizes of $150 in GT Pie DOUGH gift cards for reciting Pi Digits. We are even upping the ante with free pie for a year to the most informative and entertaining video using Pi.
(Teachers, we have a special Pi Day video contest for classrooms! Click here for details.)
Video Award Categories (We’ll be awarding $150 in GT Pie DOUGH):
- Most Creative – foreign language, sign language, while doing a handstand, etc. Get creative!
- Most Digits in 15 Seconds – Are you a Pi genius? Show us how many digits of Pi you can get in 15 seconds.
- Kids – For kids 12 and under.
Grand Prize – Win Pie For A Year:
- We will award Pie For a Year* to the best overall video that is the most informative (and entertaining). *Pie for a Year can be shipped anywhere in the U.S., up to a $500 value.

oh come on, how is an old lady going to do a video? Love your pie, quiches, soups, sandwiches, muffins….whatever…………..and enjoy a wonderful hot meal on a cold day. Meeting grandsons and daughter at Traverse City Pie Company next Sat. for our special once a month date. But, I have a dumb phone (not a smart one), don’t text, don’t twitter, don’t have any special abilities………but do love your restaurant. And, since I live in South Lansing……….you don’t have a restaurant on this side of town. Darn. So, it is a special trip. We bought 6 Grand Traverse Pie Company $10.00 gift certificates to mail to two neighbors in college and our two grandsons in Michigan Collage. And two for us! Don’t you think that’s a perfect Valentine Gift card. They were more excited than the Biggbe card we got them last year. YEAH. Just couldn’t mail a gift card to son and daughter in law in N.C. They don’t know what they are missing. Thanks for a clean, family restaurant. Wish you were nearer my home!!
That’s my comment. I love the Traverse City Pie Company and introduce my friends to it any opportunity I have.
Traverse City Pie Company is one of the places I miss the most from when I lived in Mesick Michigan and then Sutton’s Bay.
Awesome Pies. Better than homemade.
Thank you for the pie love, Barbara! We can ship pies to your doorstep if you ever get a craving. 🙂
Can the video be posted to twitter also? Just tag you in it?
