GT Pie Celebrates 25 Years in 2021!
Happy New Year, Pie Friends!
We are very excited to be entering 2021 for many reasons, but one of the biggest is that this year marks our 25th Anniversary! We first opened our doors in Traverse City on July 19th, 1996.
We can’t wait to celebrate this big milestone with you. Watch for fun celebrations, giveaways, special pies, videos, and more throughout the entire year.

I’ll never forget the day while on vacation our friends introduced us to GTPC in Traverse City. Since good pie has always been my favorite dessert, I thought this is too good to be true! We didn’t have a lot of opportunities to take advantage of it, however, due to distance, but any time we visited that area, a trip to the pie store was high on our list of things to do.
Fast forward to the day when we learned that a Grand Traverse Pie Company was opening in Grand Rapids, MI. OH HAPPY DAY!! The 20+ mile drive we make to GR is worth every gallon for a Turkey Rueben Sandwich and Lakeshore Berry Pie.
Congratulations on 25 years and thanks for providing such a great place to relax and enjoy top notch food and award winning pie.

I remember when Denise Busley brought a few pies in to East Bay Elementary School to share with staff. She told us she and her husband were opening a pie store and wanted to know what we thought of their pies. Of course, we all loved them and as they say…the rest is history! Happy 25th Anniversary!! you still have the best pies around!
